From June 25th to 27th, the Javits Center in New York City hosted the 67th edition of the most important trade fair dedicated to food excellence and industry innovations on the East Coast of the United States: the Summer Fancy Food Show. An exhibition of 28,000 square metres, with 2,000 exhibitors of food specialities from around the world involved. An entire pavilion has as always been dedicated to Italian excellence, with 300 brands including producers, consortia and producer associations, which was also visited by Italian authorities.

Agrimontana was once again featured among the companies representing the “Made in Italy”. At our stand, American professionals had the opportunity to learn about and taste our main star - the Marron Glacé - which we have been processing with care and precision for over 50 years, and which represents the most authentic jewel of the confectionery art throughout the world. And, as a connection to the values we believe in, we also presented our supply chain ingredients in New York, such as the “Nocciola del Piemonte I.G.P.” and the Feudo di San Biagio pistachio.

Each ingredient is emphasised all the way from the field to the finished product (being a haute cuisine recipe, a dessert dish, a haute patisserie or bakery product, or an artisanal gelato). At the event, the public was also able to discover our retail line of fruit-based products: jams, creams and candied fruit dedicated to the consumers. DOMORI, our partner for professional chocolate-based ingredients, was also by our side.

The Summer Fancy Food Show was an opportunity to consolidate the business relationships that Agrimontana has had with overseas professionals for years, continuing to spread Italian craftsmanship around the world through products of excellence. And a great opportunity to meet again some professionals and celebrities, who passed by for a greeting or a tasting at our stand. Among them also the brilliant actress Whoopi Goldberg and the food entrepreneur Giada De Laurentiis!
